Wonderful facility. The staff are all amazing, the techs, front desk, vets, and everyone else that I’ve interacted with cares very deeply for your pets. Both Dr. Pelzer and Dr. Vargas are extremely wonderful. I’ve taken my animals there for years and they are amazing at every milestone, including the unfortunate end. I had to put my boy Richard down last week and they were amazing at every step. They genuinely cared about him and me and they made the end as peaceful and as lovely as it could have been. It was never going to be a nice experience due to the circumstances but they made it as easy as they could. I recommend them to everyone when I talk about vets with people. I will continue bringing my other kitty to them as I know she will get good quality care from people who do care.

This was the first vet clinic we experienced in Iowa. We came in with our girl on the symptoms of lack of appetite. Our initial visit was with Dr. Pezler which if I’m going to be honest wasn’t memorable. In fact, she crucially missed important details on a physical exam. Every visit thereafter was with Dr. Vargas. She heard us out, showed concern, gave us many options but ultimately we felt they were inexperienced vets with what our girl had. They did end up getting a diagnosis but we steered what diagnostics we wanted. This wasn’t the easiest given the stress of our situation. In the end, we still appreciate Dr. Vargas for finding what was wrong in our girl. We also appreciate her reaching out to more experienced vets for second opinions and advice. We took treatment elsewhere.

Great vet, caring staff, fair prices, been going here for years. Feel well cared for and they are always very good about following up on the phone after visits that require extra attention.
