Never had a good experience here. I transferred my dog to this clinic because of the reviews as she is timid of new people. My boyfriend’s male lab went here as well and never had an issue until Dr. Gillespie started seeing him. Never once have both of my dogs been so stressed out going to the vet until Dr. Gillespie showed up. My male lab went through a simple procedure because of a cut and he also needed his nails trimmed and they were cut entirely too short, with blood VISIBLY coming out. Not only did he come out with bloody nails but had feces smeared in his fur with no sign of any possible clean up, which happens to not be the first time. A simple vet visit for shots, my male lab gets “recommended” to go to the back so he calms down and then returns with feces smeared in his fur AGAIN. I refused to let my female lab go to the back by herself after seeing how my male was reacting because she does not like being without Mom, Dad, or her brother. With another visit approaching, I was told the Dr. would like our dogs on the “chill protocol”. I have already declined this before because my dogs are not violent, loud, or hyper, they simply pant at the vet (NORMALLY). Kindly declining that if it was just a recommendation, I could take my dogs elsewhere due to the travel time I was already doing, nearly an hour and fifteen minutes one way. I got a response of “okay. we will cancel your appointments”. I would never ever recommend this clinic now that Dr. Gillespie is seeing animals. Spare your pets from the stress that he causes.
